All foreigners have to pay additional surcharge of R55/-. This is apart from the visa fee.

In case the applicant has made the payment of visa fee via bank transfer, the original proof of payment or proof of payment duly attested by the bank needs to be attached with the visa application. Applications lacking the original/attested proof of payment will be rejected straightway.

Visa fee should never be sent in cash through mail/courier. Credit/Debit Cards/Personal cheques and Postal Orders are not accepted.

Mission/Consulate decides the type and period of visa irrespective of the visa fee paid and type of visa applied by the foreigners. The type and the period of visa once granted cannot be changed.

Visa fee once paid is neither refundable nor adjustable.

Payment can either be made through EFT, Credit/debit cards. In case of EFT following are the banking details:
